Candidate Registration Process Guidance
One of our agents will support you through the registration process. Please see the following stages of registration:
Initial Candidate Application
- Submit your CV and contact details via Cymru Temp’s online registration process.
- Have an introductory phone or video chat with a recruitment consultant to discuss your work history, desired shifts, and locations.
Compliance and Vetting
- Upload required identity documents (passport or driving licence) and proof of address.
- Provide employment references covering a minimum of the past three years with no unexplained gaps.
- Undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with barred list checks or link an existing certificate via the DBS Update Service.
- Verify professional body registration details (such as NVQ/QCF or Social Care Wales)
Entry Requirements & Experience
- Care Certificate: Hold, part way through or be willing to complete the Social Care Wales AWIF.
- Experience: Provide evidence of at least 3 to 6 months of recent paid UK care experience (required by most agencies).
- References: Supply details for two professional references, including your most recent employer.
Background & Compliance Checks
- Enhanced DBS Check: Pass an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check covering both the adult and child barred lists.
- Right to Work: Present a valid passport, biometric residence permit, or a digital share code to prove your UK work status.
- Proof of Address: Provide two official documents (like a utility bill or bank statement) dated within the last 3 months.
Training and Activation
- Complete or update mandatory training modules (such as moving and handling, safeguarding, infection control, and basic life support). Or supply in-date recognised qualifications.
- Submit payroll details, including your bank account and National Insurance number.
- Pass a final compliance review by the agency team to activate your profile for work.
